A. K. Gems & Jewels

A. K. Gems & Jewels is located at number 332 in Babu Ka Tiba. We are right in the Ramganj Bazar area, near the Kabadiyo Ki Mazzid. It is a very old and lively part of the city. You can hear the sounds of the market all day long, which keeps us awake. We deal with gems and various types of jewelry. It’s a family-run kind of thing. My uncle started it years ago, and now we all help out with the shop. The shop is small, but we have a lot of things inside if you take the time to look closely. We spend a lot of time looking at stones under the light to see their quality and color. People from the neighborhood often stop by just to say hello or to ask a quick question about something they own. We don’t have a big website or a lot of fancy decorations in the window. We just have our counters and our tools. It’s a bit crowded sometimes with all the stuff we have, but we know where everything is. We try to give people a fair price and show them what they’re actually buying. If there’s a scratch or a cloud in the stone, we point it out. It’s better to be honest about those things. We enjoy being in Ramganj Bazar because it’s where we grew up. We’re usually here from morning until the sun goes down. It’s just working with pretty things.
