Akriti Jewellers

We have been at No. 1/71 in Nagar Nigam Colony for quite a long time now. If you walk just behind the Park Regis Hotel, you will find our shop, Akriti Jewellers. It is a quiet enough area most days, though things pick up when the hotel has a big event going on. We are not a fancy showroom with bright flashing lights or anything like that. It is just a regular place where we keep our jewelry and talk to the people who come in. Some days it is very busy and other days I just sit here with a cup of tea and wait for the sun to go down. My nephew helps out with the displays when he is not at school. We have lived around this part of the city for years, so we know most of the people who walk past the door. The shop itself is simple. We have some glass cases and some old chairs for people to sit while they look at stuff. I try to keep the place tidy but there is always a bit of dust coming in from the road. People come to us because we are right here in the colony and they know where to find us. It is just a normal way of making a living, selling jewelry and helping neighbors find what they need. We do not have a big website or a marketing team. It is just us here behind the hotel every day.
