Bharat Electricals

We have been here at A/1 M I Road in Chameli Market for quite some time now. It is a busy spot and Bharat Electricals is basically where we spend most of our daylight hours. Usually, the day starts with opening up the shutters and dusting off the shelves. People come in looking for all sorts of things, maybe a specific bulb or some wiring for a home project that didn't go as planned. We have lots of boxes piled up and sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what someone needs, but we usually get there. The market gets pretty loud in the afternoons but that is just how it is around here. We try to keep things simple. If someone asks for a part, we look for it. If we don’t have it, we say so. It is a small space but we make it work. Most of our regulars are folks from the nearby streets who know where we sit. Sometimes we have tea while waiting for the next person to walk through the door. It isn't anything fancy, just a shop with shelves full of electrical bits and pieces. We have seen the road change over the years, new shops coming and old ones going, but we are still here in the same corner. It's just a regular job for us, making sure the inventory is okay and helping out whoever stops by. There is always work to be done.
