Bansal Gallery Arts

Bansal Gallery Arts is situated at 256 Gayatri Sadan in the Sindhu Nagar area, right near the Pratap Nagar Crossing at VKIA. This part of the city is quite different from the crowded center. It feels a bit more industrial and open. Our building, Gayatri Sadan, is a solid structure where we do all our daily work. We spend a lot of time at number 256, surrounded by various pieces of art and materials. It’s not a sterile gallery; it’s more of a workshop where things are moving all the time. There is usually some sawdust or bits of packing material on the floor. We don’t have a fancy showroom. Instead, we have rooms filled with items in various stages of being handled. The noise from the Pratap Nagar Crossing is a constant background sound, with trucks and cars moving towards the industrial area. We arrive early to get a head start on the day’s tasks. The light inside is a mix of natural sun from the windows and some old tube lights. We sit on wooden chairs and use large tables to spread out our work. It’s a place where we put in long hours without much fuss. We drink our tea from steel tumblers and talk about what needs to be finished before the week is up. It’s a straightforward, practical environment where we focus on the work itself rather than making the place look perfect for visitors.
