Bajrang Trading Company is over at Plot Number 80 on Dewanath Ji Ka Rasta. It’s located in the Chandpole Bajar area, which is always packed with people. If you know the old city, you know how busy these narrow lanes can get during the day. Our place is just a regular trading spot where we handle all kinds of goods that come our way. The plot is not very big, but we make the most of every inch of space we have. We’ve got bags and boxes stacked up everywhere. It’s a bit of a maze inside sometimes and you have to watch your step. The street outside is full of shops selling everything you can imagine. We are just one of many small businesses here trying to make a living. Working in Chandpole Bajar means you have to be okay with the crowds and the constant noise of rickshaws and motorbikes. We don't have a fancy office or any air conditioning to keep us cool. We just have a desk and some old chairs for when people come to talk business. It’s a very direct way of working. No frills and no nonsense. We’ve been here for years and have seen the market change, yet it stays the same in many ways. Most days are spent negotiating with suppliers or checking on our stock. It is a typical day for any trader in this part of Jaipur. We just keep doing what we know how to do without any complaints.
