AURELIAN INTERIOR DESIGNS AND DEVELOPERS PRIVATE LIMITED

We’re over in Malviya Nagar, specifically M-79A on the ground floor of M Block. Aurelian Interior Designs and Developers is the full name, but we usually just call it the office. Malviya Nagar is a great place to be because it’s so central and has everything you need within a short walk. We do interior design and some development work too. Our office is on the ground floor, which is very convenient because we’re always hauling heavy samples of wood, tile, or fabric in and out throughout the week. It’s not a perfectly clean studio like you see in glossy magazines. There are bits of material everywhere and hand-drawn sketches pinned to the walls. We’re a small team, and we do most of the work ourselves. We don't have a corporate structure with big bosses and assistants; we all just pitch in whenever someone needs a hand. Designing interiors in Delhi is a real challenge because of the limited space and the constant dust, but we’ve learned all the tricks over the years. We spend a lot of time at sites making sure the workers understand the plans correctly. It’s a lot of talking and a lot of checking things twice to avoid mistakes. We don't have any fancy promises or big slogans to make. We just try to make spaces look a bit better than when we first found them. It’s a good way to make a living, and Malviya Nagar really feels like home to us.
