Atul Enterprises

Atul Enterprises is located right at the corner of Sansar Chandra Road in the Loha Mandi area, not far from the Sikar Hotel. It is a very busy junction, and there is never really a quiet moment with all the horns honking and people shouting in the street. We have been here for quite a while, and the building definitely shows its age a little, but it is sturdy enough for what we do. We handle a lot of hardware and iron goods, which is why we are based in this specific part of town. The shop floor is usually covered in a bit of grit and metal shavings, which is just part of the deal when you work in Loha Mandi. We don’t have a fancy showroom with air conditioning; it is more of a warehouse feel where things are stacked wherever they can fit. My desk is tucked away in the back under a small ceiling fan that rattles quite a bit when it is turned on high. We deal with a lot of regular customers who have been coming to this corner for years. They know we are right by the hotel, so we are easy to find even in the middle of the market chaos. Sometimes we run out of storage space and have to move crates out onto the sidewalk for a bit while we reorganize. It is a lot of physical work, but it keeps us busy.
