We are based at 601, Bharan Ki Dhanigram in the Macheda area near Amer. Associated Construction Line Indiaprivate Limited is what it says on our gate. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here sometimes, but we’ve been in this spot for a good while. The work is mostly construction related, which means we are always dealing with sand, bricks, and a lot of noise. It’s not the kind of job where you wear a clean suit to work. Most of us are covered in dust by noon. Macheda is a growing place, so there is always something new going up. We try to keep things moving so we can get to the next site. Our office at number 601 is where we do all the boring stuff like payroll and planning. It’s nothing special to look at, just a place to get the business done. Sometimes the neighbors come by to chat or complain about the trucks, and we just deal with it as it comes. We aren't some big corporate machine; we are just a group of people trying to make a living building things. Amer is a beautiful area, but we’re usually too busy looking at blueprints to notice the view. It’s just how it goes when you’re in this line of work. We stay busy, we stay local, and we try to keep the machines running.
