Aslam Steel Fitter

My name is Aslam and I run Aslam Steel Fitter. The workshop is located over at Ghat Gate, specifically in the Luharon Ka Khura area. It’s a place where there is a lot of metal work happening all day long. I spend most of my time here with my tools, working on whatever steel pieces come in. The area is quite traditional, and you can hear the sound of hammers hitting metal from down the street. It’s not a polished showroom or anything like that. It’s a real workshop with dust and scraps of steel on the floor. I've been doing this for a long time, learning the trade as I went. People come to me when they need something fitted or fixed up properly. Ghat Gate is a busy part of town, and Luharon Ka Khura has its own rhythm. I don’t use a lot of fancy machinery, mostly just the stuff I’ve used for years. It gets hot in the summer, but we keep working. I don't have a big office or a secretary. If you want to talk about a job, you just come to the shop and we can chat. It’s a basic setup, but it works for what we do. Dealing with steel is hard work, but it’s what I know. We are just a small local operation right here in the neighborhood, doing what we can.
