Ashwini Jewellers

We are located at 1635 Lohar Ka Khurra. It’s a traditional area and we’ve been part of the community here for a long time. Ashwini Jewellers isn't a place with marble floors or air conditioning that freezes you out. It’s just a normal shop where we make and sell jewelry. Most of the people who come in live just a few streets away. We do a lot of custom work, like if someone has an old set they want to turn into something new for their daughter's wedding. It takes time because we do most of it by hand. The street outside is always full of activity, mostly metal workers and craftsmen, hence the name of the area. It can be a bit noisy with all the hammering nearby, but we don't mind it. It sounds like work getting done. We keep our overhead low so we can keep our prices decent for the local folks. We don't have a big staff, usually just one or two of us behind the counter. If we are busy with a customer, you might have to wait a bit, but we always get to everyone eventually. We don't use any fancy sales tactics. We just show you the gold, tell you the weight, and let you decide. That is how we’ve always done it and it works fine for us. We are open most days except for local festivals.
