Ashoka Travel & Tour

We have been sitting here at Ashoka Travel & Tour for quite a while now. Our office is up in 303 M I Road inside the Durga Business Centre. It’s a busy spot in Jaipur, usually lots of traffic outside. We mostly handle things like booking trips and getting cars sorted for people who come in. Sometimes the office gets a bit cramped when it's busy season, but we manage. My brother and I usually handle the phone calls and the paperwork. It isn't a fancy place with big carpets or anything, just a few desks and chairs where we sit and talk to customers about where they want to go. People mostly stop by because they know where we are on MI Road. We don't really do much advertising. Mostly just people telling their neighbors or family to come see us. We try to keep things straightforward. If a bus is late or a hotel is full, we tell you. No point making things sound better than they are. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to wait a bit to confirm things, but that is just how it goes here. We have seen a lot of changes in the travel business since we started. Everything is online now, but people still like to come in and sit down to talk. It makes them feel better about their money. We just stay here and do the work every day. It is a living and we know the business well enough after all these years.
