Anjani Engineering & Repair Works

The workshop is located over in Jamdoli on the Khatipura Road. It’s a place where things are always a bit greasy and loud. I spend my time mostly surrounded by metal parts and tools that have seen better days. We do a lot of repair work here for different kinds of machinery. Some days it is just fixing a broken shaft or welding a piece of equipment that snapped under pressure. It is not the cleanest job in the world, and my clothes usually have some oil stains by noon. The road outside stays busy with trucks and bikes, so there is always noise coming in from the street. I started this place because I like figuring out why a machine stopped working. It is like a puzzle that you have to solve with your hands. We don't have any fancy office or a lobby for people to sit in. Customers just come to the front, show us what’s broken, and we tell them if we can fix it or not. Jamdoli is a growing area, so there is always someone needing something repaired. The sun hits the front of the shop pretty hard in the afternoon, making it quite hot inside, but we just keep working through it. It’s honest work and it fills the day. We don't make a big deal out of things, we just get the repairs done and move to the next one. That is basically how we operate here every single day.
