Anil Building Material & Steel Suppliers is located at 283, Mahaveer Nagar 2nd, near Maharani Farm in Durgapura. This is more of a residential and developing area compared to the city center. Our spot is quite large because we need the space to keep the steel rods and all the building materials like bricks and sand. It is a bit of a dusty environment, as you might expect. We have a small office building on the property where we sit and talk to people who are building houses nearby. There is usually a lot of clanging sounds when the steel is being loaded onto the trucks. We have been here at number 283 for a while. The area around Maharani Farm has changed a lot since we started. There are more houses now and the roads are better. Our day starts with checking what stock we have left and what needs to be ordered. It is mostly outdoor work, so we are at the mercy of the weather. When it is hot, we stay under the shade of the office porch. We don't have any corporate branding or anything like that. It is just a yard with a lot of heavy stuff and a few of us making sure it gets to where it needs to go. It is a practical business for a growing neighborhood. We just take things one day at a time and keep the supplies moving.
