Ajmera Tour

Ajmera Tour is located at 203 Bani Park in Sindi Colony. Since it’s a residential area, it stays a little bit quieter than the big markets, but we still see plenty of people coming by. The office is basically just one room with some computers and several old maps taped up on the walls. We spend nearly all our time on the phone, talking to the drivers or people who want to book a trip somewhere. There is a small porch out front where the drivers like to sit and chat while they wait for their next call. Sindi Colony has some nice trees, which really helps when the sun is beating down on the street. Our desks stay cluttered with notebooks where we write down dates, names, and phone numbers. Sometimes the internet goes down, and we have to do all the scheduling by hand, which can be a real mess. We don't have a corporate lobby or fancy chairs for people to sit in. Customers just walk in, grab a plastic seat, and tell us where they are planning to go. We have been at 203 Bani Park for a long time, so most of the neighbors know us by name. The tea man comes around twice every day, and that is usually the only time we take a break. It is a small operation, and things get a bit hectic during the busy season. Most days are just about keeping the cars and schedules moving as best as we can.
