Working out here in the Jhotwara Industrial Area at Sarna Dungar is a different kind of life. Ace Flexi Pack Pvt Ltd is located at G 1/133, and it’s a place where things are actually being made. The air is thick with the smell of plastic and the sound of the machines running all day long. It isn't a retail shop where people just walk in off the street; it's a factory environment where we focus on getting the packaging right. The floors are concrete and there are always stacks of materials waiting to be loaded onto the trucks. I spend a lot of my time in the small office area or walking around the floor checking on the production lines. It gets very loud, so we have to shout a bit to be heard over the hum of the equipment. The commute out to Sarna Dungar can be a bit of a drag because the roads are often bumpy and full of heavy lorries. We have a small crew of workers who have been with us for a long time, and we all know the routine by heart now. There’s a small canteen where we eat our lunch, usually talking about cricket or the weather. It’s hard work and the days are long, but there is something satisfying about seeing the finished rolls of packaging ready to go out. It's just a regular industrial unit doing its job every day.
