Aashish Tours & Travels

Aashish Tours & Travels is located right on Station Road, very close to the Sadar Thana. It's a loud part of town because of all the sirens and the trains nearby. We spend most of our mornings drinking tea and looking at the bookings for the day. Being near the Sadar Thana means it’s always busy around here. People come in asking for directions more than they ask for tickets sometimes. We don't mind that much. We've been here long enough that everyone knows the name Aashish Tours & Travels. The office is small, just a couple of desks and some old maps on the wall that are starting to fade. We handle a lot of last-minute travel because we are so close to the station. If a train is cancelled or someone misses their bus, we usually see a lot of frustrated faces coming through the door. It’s a lot of work keeping up with the schedules. Sometimes the printer jams when we need it most or the phone line crackles. We don't use fancy software, just the basic stuff that works for us. Station Road is never quiet, so we’re usually here late into the evening. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know the local routes well. If you are looking for us, look for the sign near the police station. It’s a bit old, but it’s still there. We just do our work and go home.
