Uttam Dall Mill

You can find Uttam Dall Mill at 179/1, Pathar Mundla Road, right by Palda Naka. This area is always full of activity with all the mills and warehouses around here. We spend our time dealing with the daily grind of processing dall. It’s not the kind of job where you stay clean for long. By the end of the shift, everyone is dusty. The machines are old but they still work hard, and we spend a lot of time maintaining them so they don't break down when we have a big load to finish. Pathar Mundla Road gets pretty congested with all the heavy vehicles, so there’s always a lot of honking and shouting outside the gate. We just stay focused on what’s inside. It’s a very practical business. We aren't here to make things look pretty; we’re here to get the pulses processed and moved out. We eat our lunch together in the small area we have and then get back to it. Sometimes the weather makes the work harder, like when it’s really humid and the grains get sticky, but we just deal with it as it comes. It’s a local spot that’s been part of the Palda Naka scene for a bit. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing every day at 179/1. It's just a regular mill with regular people who know the business.
