Himalaya Chatni Bhandar

We’re located over at 276-277 in A-Sector-F on Sanwer Road. It’s an industrial patch, but inside our place, it smells a lot better than the neighboring shops. We make chatni. It’s a messy business, to be honest. There are always big pots, spices everywhere, and a lot of washing up to do at the end of every single day. We don’t have any fancy robots doing the work; it’s mostly just us handling the ingredients and making sure the flavors are right. Some days the chilies are stronger than others and everyone in the room starts sneezing. That’s just part of the job. We aren't a big factory with corporate logos on everything. We’re just a local bhandar trying to make something people actually want to eat with their meals. The floors are usually a bit wet from cleaning and the labels sometimes go on a little crooked, but the chatni inside is what we care about. We’ve been in this sector for a while now. Most of the people around here know us because of the aromas coming from our unit. We don’t have a big marketing plan or anything like that. We just make the batches, pack them up, and get them out the door. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. We just do our best to keep the jars filled and the customers fed.
