About Sanskrit Gruh Udyog – Food & Beverages in Indore
Sudama Nagar is a quiet neighborhood, and that’s where we have our little setup. We call it Sanskrit Gruh Udyog because it’s a small, home-based kind of thing. It isn't a massive factory with machines running all night. Instead, it’s just a few of us working in a space that used to be part of a house. You can hear the neighborhood kids playing outside and the occasional vegetable seller passing by. We do most of our work by hand, sitting on low stools or at old wooden tables. There’s a lot of talking while we work because we’ve all known each other for a long time. The smell of our materials usually fills the room, and sometimes it drifts out into the street. People from the nearby houses often stop by just to say hello or to see what we are making this week. We don’t have a website or any of that fancy stuff. Most people around here just know where we are. The lighting isn't the best, so we try to get most of the work done while the sun is up. It’s a simple life, and we like it that way. We don't have titles or bosses in suits. We just have a list of things to finish and we get them done together. It’s a local business in the truest sense, rooted right here in the lanes of Sudama Nagar where we grew up.
