The Madhya Pradesh State Industries Corp. Limited

Our office is at 101, Classic Centre on M.G. Road. It is a busy street with constant traffic and noise from the shops below. Being part of the state industries corporation means there is always a lot of paperwork to get through every single day. We deal with various industrial things and the office has that old-school feel to it. We have desks piled with folders and older computers that hum all day. M.G. Road is always loud, so we keep the windows shut mostly to keep the dust out. We have been here for years. It is a government setup, so things move at a certain pace. We have a lot of visitors coming in to ask about different industrial schemes or permissions. Sometimes the tea lady comes around twice a day, which is the highlight of the morning. The furniture is a bit worn out but it does the job. We aren't here to make things look pretty; we are here to process the files and help where we can. Most of us have been working here for a long time. We know the local shopkeepers nearby and the guys who sell fruit on the corner. Lunch break is usually a quick bite at the desk or a short walk down the street if the weather isn't too hot. Classic Centre is a landmark for some, but for us, it's just where we clock in. There is no big secret to how we work, we just follow the rules and try to keep things moving.
