Our place is over on Sanwer Road, right in the heart of the Industrial Area, Sector-D. If you’re looking for 48-D/2, it’s a big sturdy building where we spend most of our daylight hours. Being a furniture factory, there is always sawdust on the floor no matter how much we sweep it up at the end of the day. We have been making tables and chairs and other wooden stuff here for quite a while now. It’s noisy because of the saws and the sanding machines, but it’s a good kind of noise. You know people are working and things are being built. I usually walk around the floor checking on the pieces. We don't really have a big sales team or anything like that. It’s just us and the wood. The heat in the afternoon can be something else, but we keep the fans going as much as we can. Most of our days are spent taking orders and figuring out how to fit everything into the delivery trucks. Sanwer Road stays pretty packed with lorries, so getting things in and out takes a bit of planning ahead. We focus on the craft side of things mostly. It’s a private limited company on paper, but to us, it’s just the shop where we build things that last. We’ve seen many businesses come and go in this sector, but we just keep doing what we know. It’s practical work for practical people.
