Arvind Steel Furniture

Arvind Steel Furniture sits right on 62 Jawahar Marg, which is a pretty busy stretch of road in South Toda. If you walk by, you will likely hear the sound of metal clicking or being moved around. Our shop isn't anything elaborate. It is mostly filled with different types of chairs, cupboards, and desks that we keep on the floor. It gets a bit dusty because of the traffic outside, but we try to keep things wiped down when we have a spare minute. My father started this and now we just keep it going as best as we can. We don't really have a big staff, just a few of us who know how to handle the heavy steel pieces without hurting our backs. The space feels a bit small when a big shipment comes in, and we have to shuffle everything around to make room. Customers usually just wander in from the street, and we talk to them about what they need for their homes or small offices nearby. Sometimes we stay late to finish up an order, and the street starts to quiet down, which is nice. We don't have a fancy showroom with bright lights. It is just a practical place where the furniture is sturdy and the floor is concrete. Most of the people around here know us by now, and we like being part of the neighborhood for all these years.
