Our office is located at 4 Dil Pasand Colony, right on Race Course Road. It’s an older part of Indore, and we like the character of the neighborhood. The building has been here for years, and it has that solid, old-fashioned feel to it. As colonizers, we spend most of our time looking at land and figuring out how to lay out streets and plots. It’s a lot of walking around in dusty fields and then coming back here to wash our boots and look at the maps again. We aren't fancy people. You won't find us wearing suits unless we absolutely have to for a legal meeting. Most days, we are just talking to people, trying to get things organized. There is always some issue with a boundary or a permit that needs fixing. We take things one day at a time. The office is usually full of the smell of old paper and sometimes the jasmine from the garden outside. We have a couple of old desks and some wooden chairs that have seen better days. It is a comfortable place to work, even when things get stressful. We’ve seen Indore change a lot from this office on Race Course Road. We aren't trying to do anything flashy. We just want to develop land in a way that makes sense for the people who will eventually live there. It’s slow work, but we find it satisfying in our own way.
