Sr Pulses

Down here at Plot Number 34 in Musakhedi, the days start pretty early. Being in Udhyog Nagar, there are always trucks moving around and the sound of people loading stuff. We handle a lot of pulses here. It’s dusty work, honestly. You spend a lot of time checking bags and making sure the quality is what it should be. The Palda Main Road is right nearby, so getting things in and out isn't too hard once you get used to the traffic patterns. It’s a basic warehouse setup with high ceilings and stacks of sacks piled up everywhere. My cousin and I run the floor mostly. Some days are just spent on the phone or writing down weights in the ledger. It’s not the kind of job where you wear a suit. You’re usually covered in a bit of dust by lunch. We’ve seen the market go up and down, but people always need their dal and grains. We just try to keep the inventory moving so nothing sits for too long. Sometimes the rain makes the road outside a bit of a mess, which slows things down, but we just deal with it. It’s a straightforward business without any bells or whistles. We just stay busy with the processing and making sure the orders are ready when the transport arrives. The office is just a small desk near the main door where we keep the records and a few pens.
