Punjab Food Products

Our place is tucked away in Hargovind Nagar at Plot No. 6, over in the Pipliya Rao area. It’s not a flashy part of town, but it works for what we do at Punjab Food Products. The building is 292/2, and it’s mostly just work floors and storage. We start early, usually before the sun is fully up, to get a head start on the day’s production. There’s a lot of rinsing, chopping, and packing that happens in these walls. We aren’t a giant factory with robots; it’s mostly hands-on work. We use simple machines that have been with us for years, and we know exactly how to fix them when they act up. The neighborhood is quiet enough, though the narrow lanes can make deliveries a bit tricky sometimes. We know our neighbors, and we usually share some of what we’re making if there’s a little extra. The floor is always a bit damp from washing down the equipment, and there’s always a faint smell of whatever we cooked last. It’s just a regular small business. We don’t have a big mission statement on the wall. We just want to make sure the food we send out is something we’d eat ourselves. We keep our heads down and work hard. Sometimes the days are long, but that’s just the nature of the food business in a place like this.
