Our workshop is located right by the Khalsa Stadium on Dhar Road. Being at 26, we’re easy enough to find if you’re heading towards Labria Bheru. It’s a busy part of Indore with a lot of heavy vehicles passing through all the time. We do engineering work, mostly involving bigger pieces of equipment that need fixing or parts that need making. The place is usually full of tools, grease, and the smell of welding. It’s not the kind of place where you’d want to wear your nice clothes. We spend most of our day on the shop floor. Sometimes people come in with some broken piece of farm machinery or a part from a truck, and we see what we can do to get it working again. It’s practical work that requires a bit of thinking and a lot of elbow grease. We’ve been on Dhar Road for years and we know a lot of the other shop owners around here. The stadium nearby is a good landmark for people who aren't from this side of town. We don't have a website or do any advertising; people just know we’re here and what we can do. It gets pretty loud when we are in the middle of a big job, but we don’t mind it. We just enjoy the challenge of figuring out how to fix something that’s been run into the ground. It is just honest work.
