Sarthak Engineering is tucked away in Gupta Chamber, over in the Loha Mandi area near the Hari Toll. Working in a place called Loha Mandi means you’re surrounded by iron and heavy machinery all day long. Our workshop is at No-107, and it’s usually quite loud because of the tools and the traffic from the Tata trucks passing by. We deal with various engineering parts and repairs. It’s greasy work, and our hands are rarely clean. We spend our time looking at blueprints or fixing a part that someone brought in because it snapped. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy lobby. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in overalls working on a lathe or checking a measurement. It’s a practical environment where we focus on getting the job done so the client can get their machines back to work. Some days we are dealing with small components, and other days it’s something much heavier that requires a bit of muscle to move around. We’ve been in this part of Naulakha for a while, so we know the other shop owners around here. We help each other out with tools sometimes. It’s a tough business with tight deadlines, but we enjoy the challenge of figuring out how to fix something that seems broken for good. We just take it one job at a time and try to be fair with everyone who walks through the door of the chamber.
