We’ve been at No. 573 Prikanko Colony for a while now. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular engineering workshop where we spend most of our daylight hours. Usually, the floor is covered in metal shavings and there is a smell of grease in the air, but that is just how it is when you’re working with machines. We handle a lot of different jobs that come through the door, mostly fixing things or making small parts that people need for their own projects. Some days are really loud with the grinding and welding going on, so conversation can be a bit difficult. We don't have a big front office or a reception area with coffee. If you come by, you’ll probably find one of us under a machine or hunched over a lathe. It’s hard work and your hands stay dirty no matter how much you wash them, but we like seeing a project come together. Sometimes a neighbor drops in just to ask about a broken gate or a part for their tractor. We don’t mind. We just get on with the tasks on the bench. The space in Prikanko Colony is enough for what we do, even if it gets a bit cramped when a big delivery arrives. We try to keep things organized so we can find the right wrench when we need it, though things have a way of walking off. That's just how a shop runs.
