We’re tucked away over at 108 Shrinagar Main, right next to the Neel Kamal Rubber Ind. building. It’s a busy area and the noise from the rubber factory is just part of our daily background. Combined Engg. Pvt. Ltd. has been operating from here for quite some time now. Most of our day is spent looking at drawings and making sure the metalwork is coming along as it should. We aren't really into big speeches or flashy advertisements. We just focus on the engineering side of things and try to get the orders out on time. Sometimes things get backed up when a machine acts up, but we fix it and keep moving. The shop is usually a bit of a mess with scraps and tools everywhere, but we know where everything is. People come to us when they need something specific made or repaired. We don't overcomplicate it. We listen to what's needed and then we get to work. It’s practical work for practical people. Shrinagar Main is a good spot for us because it's easy for the trucks to get in and out. We’ve got some long-term workers who have seen just about every problem you can imagine in this trade. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily tasks as they come through the door. It’s a lot of sweat and heavy lifting, but that’s the life of an engineer. We just keep the wheels turning.
