We are set up at B-17A in the Industrial Estate Pologround. P. G. Engineers Pvt. Ltd. is where we spend our days fixing things and making specific parts for machines. The industrial estate is a busy place, and there’s always the sound of welding or grinding in the background. We have a few old machines that have been with us since the start, and they still work better than the newer ones sometimes. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing person to answer the phones. Most of our work comes from the other businesses located nearby. If a machine breaks down, they bring the parts to us and we see what we can do. We’ve got grease under our fingernails most of the time, and that's fine. It’s not the kind of job where you wear a tie or a clean shirt. We just focus on the engineering side of things. Sometimes the electricity cuts out and we have to wait for it to come back, which is frustrating, but that’s just how it goes in this part of town. We aren't trying to change the world; we're just trying to make sure the parts we make are solid and fit where they are supposed to go. It's honest work for us. We have a small crew, and we all look out for each other. It’s a noisy, busy life at Pologround, but we like it.
