Nainil Engineering Pvt Ltd is located at 37 Shivshakti Anx on Kanadia Road in Indore. We sit right across from Tagore Public School, so it gets pretty noisy when the kids are coming and going, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. Our work is mostly focused on the technical side of things—civil engineering and site planning. It’s a lot of calculations and making sure the concrete and steel are going to do what they are supposed to do. We don't really do the flashy design stuff; we do the bones of the building. The office is pretty basic. We have a few computers, a big printer for drawings, and a table where we can spread out the blueprints. Most of us here have been working in Indore for a long time, so we know the soil and the local weather patterns. Sometimes a project gets delayed because of the monsoon or because a supplier didn't show up, and we just have to deal with it. We don't use a lot of big words or try to sound more important than we are. We just want the structures to be safe and the client to understand what they are paying for. It’s honest work that keeps us busy. You can usually find someone in the office from nine till six, unless we are out at a construction site checking on the workers.
