If you know Chennai, you know how Velachery Main Road can be. It is always crowded. Our office is in the Pace Adarsa complex, specifically Block 2 F2 in Selaiyur. It is a decent spot, though finding parking for visitors is sometimes a bit of a headache. Lansteel Projects has been operating from here for a bit now. We are just regular people. The office is tucked away in the apartment block, so it feels more like a home than a workplace sometimes. We have a small kitchen where we make lunch and someone is always bringing in snacks from the local bakery. We don't have any of those glass walls or modern art you see in big offices. Just some sturdy desks and a lot of steel samples laying around. It is a bit messy, to be honest. But we know where everything is. The heat in Chennai is something we just deal with every day. We keep the windows shut to keep the dust from the road out. Most of our work involves a lot of phone calls and checking drawings. It is steady work. We aren't trying to impress anyone with fancy talk. We just do the projects and go home. Selaiyur is a good neighborhood for us. It’s close enough to everything but still feels like a community.
