Jitendra Dall Mill

Our mill is located at 159 Sajan Nagar, right on the Chitawad Road. It has been our family spot for many years. If you walk by, you can usually hear the machines running from the street. We process different kinds of dall here, mostly just cleaning and splitting them for local use. The inside of the mill gets pretty dusty when we are working through a big load of pulses. It is not a modern factory with automated systems; we do a lot of the work by hand and with some older machinery. Sometimes the power cuts out and everything just stops, which can be frustrating when we have a lot to get through. We have a small crew of workers who have been with us for a long time. The office is just a small corner with a desk where we keep our logbooks. We do not have a website or do any fancy marketing. People in the neighborhood just know where we are. The road outside has gotten much busier lately with more trucks and cars, but we just keep doing our thing. It is a noisy, dusty life but it is what we know. We spend most of our time checking the grain and making sure the bags are weighed right. It is honest work and keeps us busy from early morning until the evening. We do not really change much here, just keep the machines oiled. We like being part of the Sajan Nagar community.
