We operate Jai Nirmal Baba Rice Mill Private Limited out at Jundipirklg. We are located at Biresh Debsharma’s place. It is a typical rice mill setup. There is always a lot of dust in the air and the sound of the hulling machines is pretty constant throughout the day. We spend our days checking the moisture in the grain and making sure the sacks are filled right. It is a lot of heavy lifting for everyone involved. The area around Jundipirklg is where we spend most of our time. We do not really have a front desk or anything like that. If you need us, you usually have to find us out back by the machines or in the storage area where the bags are piled up high. The weather affects us a lot; if it is too humid, things slow down and we have to adjust. We just keep an eye on the equipment to make sure nothing breaks because parts can be hard to get quickly. It is a simple routine for us. We start early, work through the heat, and try to get everything processed by the time we close up. There is not much to say about the office side of things because most of our work is hands-on. We just do the work that needs doing. It is a bit of a rough environment, but it is what we know and what we do.
