Our place is at 33 and 34 Shanti Niketan. If you know where Bombay Hospital is, we are just right behind it. It’s a handy location because everyone knows the hospital, so it’s easy to give directions. The neighborhood is called Shanti Niketan and it usually lives up to the name, being fairly peaceful most of the time. We are an LLP, which means we’re a small group of partners just running this commercial business. The office is a bit cramped because we have a lot of files and some old samples lying around. We’ve been in this building for a few years now. The tea guy comes around twice a day and his ginger tea is the highlight of our mornings. Sometimes the parking out front gets tricky if the hospital visitors park their cars in the wrong spot. We have a couple of desks pushed together to make a bigger workspace. It’s not a fancy interior design, just functional. We spend a lot of time on our computers and talking to suppliers. It’s a lot of back-and-forth work. The air conditioner makes a bit of a rattling noise, but it keeps us cool enough when the Indore heat kicks in. We don’t go for big titles or anything, we just get our tasks done and go home to our families. It’s a straightforward way to run a business and it works for us.
