Alpaharam

Alpaharam is located right in the middle of the bustle at Kothari Market in Indore. If you know the area, you know how crowded it gets with shoppers and vendors everywhere. Our place is right in front of the market, so we get a lot of foot traffic. The name means light snacks, and that is exactly what we focus on. Indore people are very picky about their snacks, so we try to keep things tasting like they should. It is a busy environment where the smell of hot oil and spices is always in the air. We have a few small tables and benches, but mostly people just stand and eat quickly before going back to their shopping or work. The lunch hour is the most chaotic time, with everyone shouting orders and us trying to keep up. We don't have a long menu or anything corporate. It is just the local favorites that people expect when they come to a market like this. Sometimes we run out of certain items before the day ends because the crowd was bigger than we thought. We keep the water jars filled and the plates moving. It is a noisy, fast-paced spot but that is the charm of being in Kothari Market. We have been here long enough that the other shopkeepers around are like our neighbors. It is just a simple snack joint run by people who love the Indore food scene.
