Agrawal Snacks

Our shop is No. 102/E right on the Main Road in Vijay Nagar. You can usually tell you’re close by the smell of frying dough and spices in the air. We spend most of our time in the back where the big stoves are. It gets really warm in there, especially during the summer months, but we don't mind it much anymore. We make a lot of traditional snacks that people around Vijay Nagar have grown to expect from us. It’s a small space, so things can get a bit crowded when we have a lot of stock ready to go. We use simple ingredients we buy from the local market. There’s no big secret to what we do, just staying on top of the cooking all day. My family helps out with the packing and the cleaning. We don't have a computer system or anything, just a notebook where we write down what we need. The Main Road is always loud with traffic, but it brings people to our door. We see kids coming in after school and workers stopping by on their way home. It’s a good feeling to see people enjoying what we make right there on the street. We aren't trying to be a big brand, just Agrawal Snacks, a local place for a quick bite. We keep the front door open for the breeze, even though it brings in the noise.
