Gurushree Sweet

We’ve been at 27, Malganj Chouraha for quite some time now. Gurushree Sweet is right there on Jawahar Road. It’s a very busy corner, and there is always noise from the traffic and the people walking by. We open up early in the morning to get everything ready. The shop isn't huge, but we make it work. Most of our time is spent in the back, working with the sugar and milk. It gets very hot near the stoves, especially in the afternoon. We don’t really have a management team or anything like that. It’s just us and a few helpers who have been around for years. We know most of the regular customers who walk through the door. They come in for a bit of a chat while they pick up what they need. Jawahar Road has changed a lot, but our little corner stays mostly the same. We don’t try to do anything too fancy. We just stick to what we know how to make. Sometimes we run out of things early, and people get a bit upset, but we can only make so much in a day. We aren't a big chain. We're just a local shop trying to make a living. People know us at Malganj Chouraha. We’ve seen kids grow up and start coming in with their own children. It’s nice to be part of the neighborhood like that. We just keep doing what we do every day. It is simple enough work for us.
