Youkay Marble

Finding us is pretty easy if you know where Seena Hotel is in the Mozamjahi Market area. Youkay Marble is right there on Fasi Jung Lane. It is a very crowded part of town, always full of people walking by and the smell of food from the nearby stalls. Our shop is tucked in there, filled with slabs of marble and smaller bits of stone. It is definitely not a quiet place to work. There is the constant noise of the market and people shouting and vehicles trying to squeeze through the narrow lane. We have been in this spot for quite some time now. Most of our day is spent talking to people who walk in or checking on the latest deliveries. The space is a bit cramped because marble takes up so much room. We have to move things around a lot to make space for new stock, which is a bit like playing a puzzle. We don’t have a fancy showroom with bright lights and music. It is just the shop and the stone. We usually have a pot of tea going in the back of the room. If it is a slow afternoon, we might sit outside on a stool for a bit and watch the crowd go by. It is a lively spot to work, and you see all sorts of people. We just focus on getting the right pieces to the people who need them.
