Pavan Designer Tiles

You can find us over at Plot No 188/A in Suraram Village. Pavan Designer Tiles is really just a place where we keep piles and piles of ceramic and stone. It’s a bit out of the main city, so things are a little quieter here, though the trucks coming to drop off new stock make enough noise for everyone. We spend our mornings moving heavy boxes and showing people the different patterns we have out back. It’s a lot of physical work, and the dust from the tiles gets on everything, including our clothes and the old desk in the corner. People from around the village and the nearby areas come in looking for something for their kitchens or bathrooms. We don’t have a shiny showroom with bright lights. Most of the time, we are just flipping through samples and talking about what might look good in a small house. The weather in Suraram can be quite dry, so we’re always drinking tea while we work. It’s a straightforward business. We buy the tiles, we store them, and we sell them to whoever walks in. Sometimes the stock doesn't arrive on time, or a box gets chipped, and we just have to deal with it. We’re just local people running a tile yard, trying to keep things organized so customers can find what they need without too much trouble.
