Vishnu Marble & Granites

Our place is at Door No.37/1, right across from the Hero Honda showroom on Bollaram Road. We are near Naren Gardens in Miyapur. It’s a busy stretch of road, so there is always a lot of movement. We keep both marble and granite here. Some people like the shiny marble, and others want the tough granite for their kitchens. We have it all piled up in the yard. It takes a lot of work to keep the pieces organized. We spend most of our day on our feet, showing people the different slabs and explaining how thick they are. The dust from the stone cutting stays on everything, so we are always cleaning our glasses. We’ve been in Miyapur for a while, and we know most of the local contractors. It isn't a fancy shop with air conditioning. It’s just a yard with a roof over part of it to keep the rain off the stones. When the monsoon hits, the yard gets a bit muddy, but we keep working. We use the old crane to lift the heavier pieces onto the trucks. It makes a lot of noise, but it gets the job done. If you are driving towards Bollaram, you will see our sign near the garden entrance. We are usually here from early morning until the sun goes down, just handling the daily business and helping folks out.
