Venkateshwara Marbles & Granites

My family and I have been at Plot No.67 for quite a while now. Most people around Gayatrinagar X Road know where we are because of the big slabs of stone sitting out front in Karmangat. Dealing with marble and granite isn't exactly easy work. It is heavy, dusty, and you have to be careful not to crack anything when moving it around Gillalguda. We spend most of our days unloading trucks and showing people different patterns in the stone. Some pieces have veins that look like rivers, and others are just plain and solid. People come in looking for stuff for their kitchens or floors, and we just show them what’s currently in the yard. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to work outside, but we manage. We aren't a big fancy showroom with air conditioning and coffee machines. It is just a workspace where we keep our stock and talk to customers who walk in. Most of the time, it’s just us moving things from one corner to another to make space for new arrivals. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years, but the stone business stays pretty much the same. You pick a slab, we figure out the loading, and that’s about it. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy from morning until we close up the gate. Nothing too complicated here at Venkateshwara Marbles & Granites.
