Veera Granites

Veera Granites is located right on Krishna Nagar Main Road, specifically at 87/2-9-141. Being in Yousufguda means there is always something going on outside our door. The traffic is pretty constant and you can hear the horns all day long while we’re working. We have a lot of granite slabs stacked up, and sometimes it feels like we’re running out of room, but we always find a way to fit a few more pieces in. It’s a lot of manual labor, carrying things and making sure nothing cracks. My back usually aches by Friday, but that’s just how it is when you’re moving heavy rock. We don't really do much advertising or anything. People just see the granite from the main road and pull over to take a look. We spend our time measuring pieces and talking to folks about what they need for their kitchens or floors. It’s a pretty simple way to spend the day. Sometimes we have to cut the stone on-site, and that makes a whole lot of noise and dust, but the neighbors around Krishna Nagar are mostly used to it by now. We’ve been at this spot for a while and we know the rhythms of the street. It’s just a regular local business trying to get the work done and stay out of the rain. We just hope the stone we have is what people are looking for.
