Sri Balaji Granites

We are situated at S. No. 588/1 Part, which is right opposite the R. T. A Office on the Ring Road in Uppal. Sri Balaji Granites has been here for a while. Being near the Ring Road is helpful because the big trucks can get in and out without too much trouble, though the traffic near the R. T. A office can be a real nightmare during the day. Our yard is where most of the work happens. It's full of granite slabs of all different sizes and colors. We spend our days moving them around and showing them to people who stop by to look at the stock. It's not a clean job at all; there’s always dust in the air and mud on the ground if it’s been raining recently. We don't have a fancy office for people to sit in. Usually, we just talk outside near the stone slabs. We like being in Uppal because it’s easy for people to find us once they get to the main road. The sun beats down on the yard pretty hard in the summer, so we try to get most of the heavy lifting done early in the morning before it gets too hot. We aren't corporate people with suits and ties. We wear work clothes because we're actually handling the granite ourselves. It’s a lot of physical labor, but we’ve done it for a long time now. We just keep the inventory moving.
