Surya Technical Enterprises

Out here in Chintal, at Plot No 5-193/3, things stay pretty busy from morning until late evening. Chandera Nagar is a packed neighborhood, so there is always someone coming by. We handle technical stuff, mostly fixing or putting things together. It’s not the biggest shop in the world, but we have enough space for our tools and the workbench. My brother and I usually open up around nine. We don't have a big marketing team or a website that looks like a movie. It’s just us and the grease on our hands. The neighbors know us by name. Sometimes the parts don't arrive on time and we have to call around, which is a bit of a headache. The fan in the back makes a weird clicking noise, but we haven't bothered to fix it yet because we are too busy fixing other people's gear. Surya Technical Enterprises isn't some corporate giant. We are just local guys who know how engines and machines work. When the rain comes, the street gets a bit muddy, so we spend a lot of time mopping the entrance. We have a small table for visitors, but most people just stand and talk while we work. It’s simple work, really. We just try to get the jobs done so people can get back to their own lives. We shut the shutters around eight each night and head home.
