If you head down to BN Reddy Nagar, you’ll find us at Plot No 1069. That’s where Agate Cranes Hoist Pvt. Ltd. operates from. It’s a big yard because, well, cranes and hoists take up a lot of room. It’s not the kind of place you’d come for a quiet meeting. There’s usually the sound of metal clanking or someone shouting over a machine. We deal with heavy lifting equipment, so the floor is always a bit greasy. We keep the parts organized as best as we can in the back. My dad used to say that if a place is too clean, no work is getting done, and our shop definitely shows we are working. We have a small office tucked into the corner of the plot where we handle the orders. The sun hits the yard pretty hard in the afternoon, so we usually take a break then. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in Hyderabad, just the one that gets the job done right here in BN Reddy Nagar. People around here know us for the yellow equipment sitting out front. It’s a straightforward business. We fix things, we move things, and we try to keep the machines running. It's a lot of manual work and getting your hands dirty every single day. Sometimes the rain makes it hard to move the heavier hoists, so we have to wait it out.
