Deccan Equipments

Our place is over in the IDA Balanagar area, inside the Technocraft building. We are up on the first floor at Unit No 8. It’s an industrial neighborhood, so there are always trucks loading and unloading nearby, which makes parking a bit of a headache sometimes. Deccan Equipments is where we handle various types of industrial gear. Since we are on the first floor, we have to use the lift quite a bit for the heavier stuff we move. The building itself is older, but it serves its purpose well. Inside the unit, it’s mostly shelves and a couple of workbenches where we check the equipment before it goes out. We don’t really have a showroom or anything like that. It’s more of a functional space where we get things ready for our customers. The lights are those long tube lights that flicker sometimes, and there is always the faint smell of machine oil in the air. My day usually starts with a cup of coffee while I look at the list of what needs to be packed or moved. We have a few guys who help with the heavy lifting and the deliveries. It’s a steady pace of work. We aren’t trying to be the biggest company out there, we just want to make sure the equipment is sorted out correctly for whoever is buying it. Most of the people who come to see us are regular workers or contractors from the local Balanagar units who know exactly what they need.
