The office for Surabhi Granites India Pvt. Ltd. is right here in Shilpa Arcade on Road No.3. Most people know this part of Banjara Hills because it gets pretty busy during the day. We have been working out of room 102 for a long time now. It is not a very fancy place, just a regular office where we handle all the paperwork for the stone business. There are stacks of files everywhere and the phone rings quite a bit. Someone is usually sitting at the front desk checking orders or talking to drivers about deliveries. The granite business involves a lot of back and forth with the sites and the yards. We spend a lot of time looking at slab details and making sure the numbers match up. It gets a bit dusty sometimes because of the samples we keep around the room. The air conditioner struggles a little when the afternoon sun hits the windows, but we get through the day. Sometimes the traffic outside on Road No.3 is so loud we have to close the windows tight. It is just a normal group of us here trying to keep the orders moving and making sure the trucks get to where they need to go on time. We usually have tea brought in from the stall down the street twice a day. It is a simple setup but it works for what we do. People stop by to ask about different types of stone and we just show them what we have on the lists.
