Sunrise Marbles

We are over at No. 235 on the Srinagar Colony Main Road. It gets pretty busy here with the traffic coming through Kamalapuri Colony, especially in the mornings when we're first opening up the gates. Sunrise Marbles has been sitting on this same stretch for a while now. Most days it’s just us moving the heavy slabs around and making sure everything is stacked where it should be. The dust gets on everything, so we spend a lot of time wiping things down just so people can actually see the patterns in the stone. It’s a lot of physical work. Sometimes people just stop by because they’re passing through the colony and noticed the sign. We don't have a big fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s mostly just the yard and the office where we keep the books. The sun hits the front of the building pretty hard in the afternoon, which makes it hot, but that's just how it is on this road. We usually have a few guys here helping with the loading and unloading when the trucks come in from the quarries. It's a straightforward setup. If you're driving down the main road, you'll see us right there. We try to keep things organized but with marble and granite, it’s always a bit of a mess. That’s just the nature of the business. We're here most days except for the usual holidays.
