SUNGLAZING FAB LLP

We are located over at Uma Nagar in the Aditya West End Apartments, right near Greenlands. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes with all the glass we handle. Being in Flat 12, we manage the fabrication side of things. Glass is tricky work. One wrong move and you’ve got a thousand pieces on the floor to sweep up. We spend a lot of time measuring window frames and checking the thickness of the panes. The guys are usually out on site more than they are in the office. It’s a lot of hauling heavy frames up elevators or stairs. We use a lot of silicone and rubber gaskets. You get used to the smell of the sealants after a few days. The traffic around Greenlands can be a real pain when we’re trying to get to a job site on time. We try to schedule things early in the morning. Most of our tools are scattered around the work area, but we know where everything is. It’s a small team, so everyone does a bit of everything, from answering phones to helping with a heavy install. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. Just us working with our hands. Sometimes we have to redo a cut because the measurements provided were slightly off. That’s just part of the job. It keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday, and we usually close up early on the weekends.
